When I opened up the packaging on Father’s Day, I was greeted with a custom BK Knife. BK Knives is owned and operated by Bruce Klawinsky and his wife Tracy. Bruce makes the knives in his shop in New Waverly, Texas and Tracy makes the custom sheaths.
So not only is this knife American-made, it’s Texan-made, which is unarguably better.
As an attorney, I’m constantly writing, taking notes, making corrections to documents and signing pleadings. This means that the instrument I use to do those things is important for me. Where that instrument is made is equally important for me. I’m a big fan of pens from a small company from Arizona, called Karas Kustoms.
I bought this roll from one of my favorite local stores called Man Ready Mercantile here in Houston, Texas. I bought it quite some time ago, so I’m not quite sure the specific name of this product, but it looks a lot like the pipe roll on their website. Regardless, this is what is known as a tool roll. It’s something typically used to keep tools sorted and protected by a thin layer of durable fabric. This one is designed to carry tobacco, a pipe, a lighter, and a tamper. However, I’ve found it works equally well as a watch roll. Three pockets, three timepieces, which is all you really need.
